Keto Coffee - Traditional

Ketogenic coffee or Bulletproof coffee can be beneficial for someone following a Ketogenic diet.
The purpose of Bulletproof coffee is to get a high amount of healthy saturated fats into a person's system in order to assist with ketosis. Other than being great for our brains and improving mental clarity first thing in the morning, there are many other benefits such as improved metabolism, weight loss, stabilized gut health, and increased mood and strength.
Below is the recipe I used to make a traditional cup of Bulletproof coffee while I was following a Ketogenic diet.

Servings: 1 people


  • 1 tbsp Grass fed butter
  • 1 tbsp Coconut/MCT Oil
  • 2 dashes Ground Cinnamon
  • 1-2 tbsp Heavy whipping cream
  • 1-2 tsp Erythritol or sweetener of choice
  • 6-8 ounces Coffee - brewed
  • 1-2 tbsp Whipped cream *this is optional


  • Melt butter in a coffee cup. This can be done in a microwave on the defrost setting or in a small saucepan on low.
  • Add Coconut/MCT oil and cinnamon to the cup with the melted butter.
  • Add heavy whipping cream, sweetener and brewed coffee to cup.
  • Blend until frothy with a handheld frother or small handheld whisk.
  • Add whipped cream to the top if you wanna be extra! 🙂
